The BTEC HNC & HND is designed for those who wish to develop their professional expertise and skills across a range of essential business and management areas. It can be studied as a stand-alone programme or can form part of a three-year degree programme. BTEC HNC is considered BA (Hons) Year 1 and BTEC HND is considered BA (Hons) Year 2 awarded by Edexcel. On completion of HNC&D the student will proceed to University of Wales BA Final year top-up degree programme. The below chart clearly interprets the pathway to BA (Hons) degree. Passing HNC/D:
Assessment will be based on examinations and assignments. The grading comprises of Pass, merit, distinction or fail. |
