DMS COURSE BROCHURE

College of IT & E-Commerce (CITEC) is pleased to offer Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) in association with RDI our educational partners. This course is fully delivered at CITEC by our qualified and experienced academic team and the degree is awarded by Edexcel a leading provider of internationally recognized UK qualifications. 

Course details: 
The Diploma in Management Studies is a Post graduate NQF Level 7 qualification intended primarily for those who are working in or aspire to work in management. This course is ideal for those who are practicing first-line managers who wish to make a career in management at this level. It focuses on underpinning knowledge and practical skills and will provide you with the opportunity to preserve and build on existing good practice. The BTEC DMS can be studied as a stand alone programme or as the entry qualification for University of Wales MBA programme.

Specializations & Course structure:
The course is divided into 9 modules and to achieve the qualification, all the modules must be successfully completed. The modules include:

Passing DMS: 
Assessment will be based on examinations, assignment & project work.  All the modules have a minimum of 40% marks for a pass. Below 40% is deemed as fail.

 
Entry requirements:
Undergraduate or equivalent qualification or   
Basic qualifications with experience of working in a managerial position.
IELTS 6.0 bands or undergraduate study/ previous education in English.
 

Duration:
The duration of the course is 12 months of full time study organised over 15 study hours per week.

Awarding body: Edexcel BTEC

Intake periods: December/ March/ June/ September

PSW:
The DMS is an NQF Level 7 qualification. Hence on successful completion of the course, the student is eligible for 2 years Post Study Work as per the present immigration rules.
